STEM

STEM is a class designed for all ages incorporating science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

• In addition to subject-specific learning, I strive to foster inquiring minds, logical reasoning, critical thinking, problem solving and collaboration skills.
• These skills are essential to my student's success in whatever career path that they may choose. My students will be challenged in engineering problem solving that may not be found in another class.
• I have found that my students learn what "real life" team work and collaboration is as deadlines approach to completing a project for competition.
• Competition is a part of my class but not the central focus of their learning. My class is primarily a hands on learning environment where they must think "outside the box".
