My name is Andy Shelton and I have been teaching at Heath Elementary School since 2018. Before teaching music at H.E.S., I taught music and band at Cairo School District 1 in Illinois. I received my undergraduate degree from Murray State University. Besides teaching at HES, I have served as the pastor of Harmony Baptist Church in West Paducah for the past ten years.

I love spending time with family, watching my children in their extra-curricular activities, singing, playing trombone, and almost anything that relates to being outside in warm weather.

I work with such awesome students and families at Heath. It's amazing to see the same students year after year and seeing how far they've come when they leave Heath at the end of 5th grade! While not every student will have the same passion for music that I do, I hope to give every student an opportunity to have positive music experiences.
