Reading/Spelling

We will use the reading series at times, and other times we will read novels and complete novel studies on them. There will be reading tests on Fridays whether we are using the Reading Book or a Novel.

A weekly spelling list will be sent home on Monday. There are 20 words, and 5 bonus words. Tests will be on Friday. I send an image of each week's spelling list out via Remind on Monday as well.

We also use Accelerated Reader (AR) to track student reading of their own books of their choosing. All AR tests must be taken during school hours.
