Nutrition Resources

The following are meal options available during the summer from our community partners:

  • Boys & Girls Club summer meals: The Boys & Girls Club of Manchester’s Union Street Clubhouse is offering free meals to children this summer. The Summer Food Service Program runs from June 21 to Aug. 27. Breakfast will be served at the clubhouse at 555 Union St. on Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. Dinner will be served at the clubhouse Monday to Friday, 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Participants do not have to be attending club members.

  • Summer meals from SNHS: Southern New Hampshire Services will be sponsoring the Summer Feeding Program, which is administered by the New Hampshire Department of Agriculture. SNHS will be offering FREE meals this summer starting June 17 until August 27 at set locations. You can call 1-800-256-9880 for more information. Meals can be picked up at these locations and times:

          • Elmwood Gardens – 83 Trahan St.: 9-10 am (Breakfast and Lunch served)

          • Manchester WIC – 40 Pine St.: 8:30-10:30 am (Breakfast and Lunch served)

          • Center for New Americans – 72 Concord St.: 11:30-1 pm (Lunch only)

          • Center Park – 22 Beech Hill Dr.: 12-12:30 pm (Lunch and Breakfast served)

          • The Welcome Home – 286 Concord St.: 12-12:30 pm (Lunch and Breakfast served)

          • Rock Rimmon Splash Pad – 249 Mason St.: 12:45-1:15 pm (Lunch only)

          • Hunts Pool – 100 Highland St: 1-2 pm (Lunch only)

          • Kelly Falls apartments – 463 Kimball St.: 3:15-3:45 pm (Dinner and Breakfast served)

          • Maple street apartments – 183 Maple St.: 3:45-4:15 pm (Dinner and Breakfast served)

          • Beech Hill apartments – 120 Beech Hill St.: 4:30-5 pm (Dinner and Breakfast served)

          • Beech Street School park – 275 Beech St.: 4:30-5 pm (Dinner and Breakfast served)

          • Livingston Park – 156 Hooksett Road: 5:15-5:45 pm (Dinner only)

          • Derryfield Park – 100 Highland St.: 5:15-5:45 pm (Dinner only)


SNAP provides nutrition benefits to supplement the food budget of needy families so they can purchase healthy food and move towards self-sufficiency.

The New Hampshire Women, Infants and Children Nutrition Program (WIC) provides nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and nutritious foods to help keep pregnant women, new mothers, infants and preschool children healthy and strong, making sure that your family has what they need to live a healthy life.
