Why I Teach?

I am fascinated by the Business World! Growing up in a very small town and attending a very small school, I did not have the opportunity to take business classes in high school. I had to wait until I went to college. I love the fact that at Arapahoe we teach a variety  of business classes and are able to expose students to the exciting (yet sometimes negative) things happening in the Business World. 

What Makes Me a Warrior?

I have been a Warrior for almost 20 years. In my time at Arapahoe, I’ve learned the true meaning of being a Warrior. These are the values that make me a Warrior: 

• Courageous - I always face challenges and fears head on, even when I’m afraid

• Resilient - I always bounce back from setbacks and learn from my failures

• Determined - I set goals and I strive to stay committed to my goals despite obstacles that arise

• Compassionate - I practice compassion by always speaking with kindness, listening carefully and without judgment, showing respect, being patient, and expressing gratitude and appreciation
