Course description*
This course builds on the foundation established in ELL I, with emphasis on increasing vocabulary and learning to write compositions. Students focus on perfecting grammar skills as well as written and oral proficiency. In addition, students watch a high-interest video series, read adapted novels as well as non-fiction resources in order to enhance class discussions and writing assignments.

Retake/Late Work/Missing Assignment Policy
Large assessments: Students will be allowed unlimited revisions of their large essay projects within a certain timeframe.
Small assessments: Students will be allowed to turn in assignments late for reduced credit.
Homework: Late homework will not be accepted unless a student has an excused absence.
