Outline Biography

Brosk is a lecturer of Chemical Engineering in the department of Petroleum engineering, where he joined the work at Koya University in April 2013. Brosk has good experience of research and teaching in Chemical engineering and Energy & Environmental Engineering fields. He found his initial inspiration in the research while he was doing his master's degree at the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering in The University of Sheffield, the UK under the title of MSc Environmental and Energy Engineering 2012, which made him gain extensive skills of research in the latest techniques of Environmental protection and renewable energy topics. Brosk Achieved a distinction in his research project which was a unique novel approach and represented a breakthrough in Chemical Engineering Science (Utilization of Microbubbles generated by the Fluidic Oscillation in Direct contact Evaporation processes) under the supervision of Professor Will Zimmerman, the project is classified as confidential with the University of Sheffield & Perlemax Ltd, the UK for novelty & patent purposes. Brosk has gained his first degree in engineering from the College of Technology, Kirkuk entitled BSc Fuel and Energy Engineering, which involved studying various topics of Chemical, Mechanical & related renewable engineering aspects. Brosk is promoted to be the Director of Health and Safety Unit at the Faculty of Engineering, Koya University in February 2014. Recently, Mr. Brosk is heading the Directorate of Career Services at Koya University.

Research Interests

Environmental Protection: Land, Water, and Air Protection from pollution due to Fossil Fuel.

Application of Micro-bubbles in the various fields of Chemical and Petrochemical Industries.

Biofuels and fuel technology in general.
