World Languages and Cultures
GENERAL INFORMATION:
This quarter, you will be introduced to the American Sign Language, Spanish, French, German, and Mandarin Chinese languages and cultures. This class may help you determine which language you are interested in learning in middle or high school and will enhance your understanding of world diversity. Which language do you like the sound of? Which countries would you like to visit? Does your family speak any of these languages? Do some of the ways of living interest you? These are questions that may help you to decide which language you are most motivated to learn.
