Thank you for visiting our website! Colleen & I are excited about getting to know your children this year. We know this will be a wonderful year with a lot of learning going on. We are hoping that our website will provide you with important information about our class. You will be able to learn about the curriculum, access the weekly newsletter, view classroom photographs, as well as learn more about  us. Hello, my name is Stephanie Richardson and I am entering my 25th year teaching 4-K  at Golden Strip Child Development Center. I have a 4 year old daughter who is my whole world! She is attending GSCDC with me this year!  I received my BA degree from USC-Columbia in May 1998 and my Masters in Early Childhood in May of 2007. I have always enjoyed working with children of all ages, however younger children are my favorite. I believe that this is because I am a child at heart. I enjoy singing songs, reading books, and playing games. This is the way that young children learn. There is no better way to spend your day. As their first teacher, I have an obligation to ensure that their 1st experience in school is fun and educational. My job is to begin the process of them developing into confident, independent, and intelligent adults.  

I am thrilled to be working with Colleen O'Neil again this year. This is our 4th year working together. Colleen has been an assistant since 2014.  Colleen is the mother of 2 beautiful daughters and 1 handsome grandson. She enjoys working with children and is excited about getting to know your children this school year!
