About Ms. Wright

Welcome to 4th grade! My name is Brittany Brooks and I am SUPER excited to be your child's 4th grade teacher this year. It's going to be a BLAST!

To tell you a little about myself, I was born in New Jersey and moved to Greenville at 5 years old where I had the privilege of growing up in this wonderful city. After graduating from Mauldin High School in 2008 I went on to The University of South Carolina where I graduated in 2012 with a B.A. in Elementary Education. GO GAMECOCKS! I have a wonderful family including my mom who is a nurse, my dad who is a heart surgeon at GHS, and an older sister who is a teacher as well at JL Mann High School.

When I am not in the classroom I enjoy spending time with family and friends, going to Carolina football games, playing with my sweet dogs Lilly and June, working out, camping, fishing and watching movies.

This will be my sixth year here at Stone and I am beyond excited to start this new adventure! Before having the privilege of joining the Stone Academy family, I taught 1st grade for 3 years in Spartanburg District 6 at Roebuck Elementary. I have wanted to be a teacher since I was a little girl, and it is so wonderful being able to come to my dream job every day! I can't wait to spend the coming year learning and growing with your child! :)
