K4 Special Ed, Learning Lab CLass

7:30-8:00: Unpack/ Books/ Sign-In

Teachers will help students get settled in

8:00-8:20: Breakfast/ Independent reading

Students will eat family style. Those who finish early will go read in the reading center.

8:20-9:00: Free Choice Centers

While students are in centers, they will work with teachers while waiting for bus children to arrive.

9:00-9:10: Interactive read aloud/Community meeting

Students will read a story with the teacher.

9:10-9:30: Greeting Circle/ Morning Message Calendar math

Sing Good Morning, Days of the Week, Months of the Year. Read morning message, and do Calendar Math.

9:30-9:40: Shared Reading/Read It Once Again

Students will read a story with the teacher.

9:40:-10:00: Literacy/Math small group

10:05-10:30: Playground

10:30-11:00: Centers/Work time

11:00-11:20: Music and Movement

11:20-12:00: Lunch/Independent reading

Students will eat family style. Those who finish early will get a book.

12:00-12:30: Centers/Worktime

Students will choose from a selection of centers.

12:30-1:00: Gross Motor Movement/Outside

1:00-1:10: Wash hands, use bathroom

1:15: Car Riders Leave

1:15-2:10: Quiet Time/ One on One Instruction

Bus children will leave at 1:15

2:10-2:15: Dismissal
