About Mrs. Hueble

My name is Kelly Hueble. I have been a teacher for MLs (Multilingual Learners) for seven years. I direct the Multilingual Learner Program (formerly known as ESOL, English for Speakers of Other Languages) at four different schools this year. The 2023 -2024 school year is my twenty-eighth year as a teacher in Greenville County Schools. It is my twenty-first year at Summit Drive. This is my second year at Stone Academy, and my first year at Tigerville. Before I became and MLP teacher, I taught first grade for 14 years at Summit Drive and for six years at Heritage Elementary School in Travelers Rest, SC. Now I am back at Heritage in a new role.

I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Southeastern College in Lakeland, FL in 1995.  I was certified as an Early Childhood Generalist by the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards in 2001 and re-certified in 2011.  I was chosen as Summit Drive's Teacher of the Year in 2007.  I completed my master's degree in education in 2009.  I attained certification for Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) in 2016.

I am married and have three great "children" of my own, all alumni of Summit Drive. They all enjoyed their years as students at Summit Drive from K5 through fifth grade. My husband, Jamie, is also a teacher. He teaches Geography at Eastside High School. We have two sweet puppies at our house. Becky is a calm, loving cocker spaniel. Archer is a lively, friendly goldendoodle.

I'd love to hear from you. Contact me any time!
