Is bunscoil lán-Ghaelach mheascaithe í Gaelscoil Chionn tSáile. Is faoi phatrúnacht an Easpaig atá an scoil agus is ar theagasc na hEaglaise atá moráltacht na scoile bunaithe. An phríomhaidhm atá againn i nGaelscoil Chionn tSaile ná oideachas lán-Ghaeilge a chur ar fáil do na daltaí go léir. Táthar ag súil go rachaidh a saol scoile i bhfeidhm orthu go dearfach le linne a tréimhse sa Ghaelscoil, agus go mbeidh cuimhní deimhneacha acu ar a saol scoile amach anseo. Tá sé mar aidhm ag Gaelscoil Chionn tSáile a bhfuil de mhaitheas i ngach páiste a chothú agus a thabhairt chun foirfeachta agus gach páiste a chur ar thóir na maitheasa sa saol atá thart air/uirthi. Tuigimíd mar mhúinteoirí go bhfuilimíd ‘in loco parentis’ agus is é cuspóir na scoile gaol slaintiúl tuisceanach a chothú idir na páistí agus muid féin. Táimíd ag súil go dtuillfimíd meas na bpaistí dá réir. Is í an Ghaeilge teanga na scoile. Is trí mheán na Gaeilge a ghlacann na páistí páirt i ngach rud ar scoil.

Welcome to Gaelscoil Chionn tSáile.

Gaelscoil Chionn tSáile is a co-ed, Irish-language, Primary School. The school is under the patronage of the bishop and the school promotes a Catholic ethos. Our main aim in Gaelscoil Chionn tSáile is to provide a high standard of Education through the medium of Irish. We aim that their school experience will have a positive effect on the development of the children and that the children will leave with positive memories of their time in Gaelscoil Chionn tSáile.

We also aim to promote the goodness that is in each child, to further develop their individual strengths and to encourage the children to look for the good that is in their world around them. We understand that as teachers we are in ‘Loco Parentis’ and it is our aim to promote a healthy, understanding and respectful relationship between the children and teachers.

Irish is the language of the school. It is through Irish that the children will participate in all school activities.
