Recycle
Jackson Elementary has a yellow and green paper recycling bin on the west side of the school by the basketball court. We get paid for the amount of paper that is recycled. Please tell your neighbors and friends and let them know that by recycling their paper products at Jackson, they are not only helping the environment, they also help our school. Items accepted: Paper, newspaper, magazines, shopping catalogs, junk mail, phone books, books, white envelopes, cereal boxes, pop boxes, paper bags.
Items NOT accepted: NO Corrugated Cardboard, NO Tissue Paper, NO Plastic, NO Glass, NO Aluminum, and NO Furniture or Other Junk.
Please add recycling to your errand route and drop paper off once a week. Help Jackson Elementary and the environment!
Scrip
What is Scrip? Scrip is a term that means substitute money. When you purchase Scrip, you are purchasing gift certificates and prepaid cards that can be used as cash. When Scrip is purchased, the vendors donate a certain percentage to Jackson Elementary PTO programs that benefit our students. How do you purchase Scrip? Order forms will go home multiple times a year. Forms are also located in the office.
