The Basics

My name is Mrs. Jennifer Torri! I will be your child’s 4th grade teacher for the 2021-2022 school year! This will be my 9th year teaching at DePue Schools. I have previously taught math RtI for 2 ½ years, 2 years in third grade, and I am now returning to fourth grade for my 5th year. I am excited for this year’s adventure!

My Childhood

I grew up in a white house on Union St. right here in Depue. I am the youngest of four children in my family. I attended and graduated from Depue Schools before going on to college.

My Education

After high school, I attended Illinois Valley Community College for two years. I finished my degree at Northern Illinois University in 2009.

Current Life

After college, I moved back to town and bought a house to start a family of my own. I currently live in town with my husband and my two children (Aiden age 8 and Alexander (Xander) age 7).
