FALL TESTING-Wednesday, October 11, 2023

PSAT/NMSQT-All Juniors  

• This exam is in a digital format.  Juniors must bring a charged Chromebook.

PSAT/NMSQT-All Sophomores  

• This exam is in a digital format.  Sophomores must bring a charged Chromebook.

PSAT 8/9-All Freshmen

• This exam is in a digital format.  Freshmen must bring a charged Chromebook.

Additional Information :

• Testing will begin at 7:20 am.

• Seniors will not be in attendance on this date and should use the time for college or career exploration.

SPRING TESTING

ASVAB Career Exploration Test-Tuesday, February 13, 2024

• Interested sophomores, juniors and seniors should register here before February 2.

Illinois Science Assessment (ISA)-All Juniors

• In compliance with federal testing requirements, Illinois will administer a science assessment to students enrolled in a public school district in grades 5, 8 and 11. The assessment will be administered in an online format and is aligned to the Illinois Learning Standards for Science incorporating the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), which were adopted in 2014. The ISA is a comprehensive exam that includes life, physical, Earth and space sciences with engineering and technological design features embedded in the other science domains. The assessment is divided into three tests of approximately 40 minutes each. St. Charles North will be administering the exam on 3/12/24.

• Juniors with last names A-Lin will take the Illinois Science Assessment in the Small Gym during periods 1-4.

• Juniors with last names Lio-Z will take the Illinois Science Assessment in the Small Gym during periods 5-8.

• Section assignments will be emailed to all Juniors and their parents when we get closer to test day.

SAT-All Juniors

• This exam is provided by the State of Illinois and is both a state and district graduation requirement.  All juniors will take the exam on April 10, 2024.  It will take place during a school day.  SCN will register students and there is no cost for this college reportable score.

• This exam is in a digital format.  Juniors must bring a charged Chromebook.

PSAT 10-All Sophomores

• This exam is provided and required by the State of Illinois.  All sophomores will take the exam on April 10, 2024.  It will take place during a school day.  SCN will register students and there is no cost.

• This exam is in a digital format.  Sophomores must bring a charged Chromebook.

PSAT 8/9-All Freshmen

• This exam is provided and required by the State of Illinois.  All freshmen will take the exam on April 10, 2024.  It will take place during a school day.  SCN will register students and there is no cost.

• This exam is in a digital format.  Freshmen must bring a charged Chromebook.

AP Testing

• Student Parent Email sent 4/23/24

• A Before Testing Email will be sent to students a few days before their exam that will include test specific information.

• Students taking an AP course are expected to take the associated exam based on the schedule below.
