Mandatory Attendance

Students of mandatory attendance age 16 or younger, or those who have not attained the status of Senior (33 credits earned) are expected to attend full days.

Students are expected to attend school daily. Attendance is critical for completion of individual packets and group projects.

Excused absence Notice with good cause for absence. Documentation from Medical, Court, Business.

Unexcused absence: No notice provided. Reasons unacceptable - (arriving more than 15 minutes late to a session, oversleeping, car problems, shopping, hunting, Personal appointments, sent home for disciplinary reasons, etc.)

Tardy: Arriving 5 - 15 minutes late to any session.

4 tardies will count as 1 unexcused session.

In the event of more than 16 session absences per six week term -

A student of mandatory attendance age (16 and younger) will be referred to the County Attorney for attendance mediation review.

A student of non-mandatory age (17 or older) will be dismissed for the remainder of the term and may reapply for admission for the next term.
