About Me

This is my 19th year teaching. This will be my 8th year at Black Ridge Elementary and I helped open the school . Before Black Ridge I taught 11 years at Alpine Elementary. My first 2 years I taught computers and the rest have been in 3rd Grade. I have taught in 7 different classrooms and 2 different schools. I graduated from UVU when it was UVSC.

I have lived in Utah my whole life. The cities I have lived in are: Orem, Vernal, Sunset, Hooper, Provo, Lehi, and Pleasant Grove. I am the oldest of 4 children. I have one brother and two sisters. I have three beautiful nieces and three adorable nephews that I love spending time with.

I love to read, travel, go to movies and plays, and spend time with my family. My favorite color is pastel pink. My favorite subject is Math! My favorite places to eat are Taco Amigo, Cafe Rio, and Carrabba's. Yum! My favorite candies are Twix, Snickers, Take 5, and Reese's Pieces, and I enjoy most chocolate. My favorite drinks are water, milk, and juice. I don't drink much soda, but I do enjoy the occasional Dr. Pepper. Two of my favorite movies are That Thing You Do and Cinderella. Two of my favorite books are The One and Only Ivan by Katherine Applegate and Out of My Mind by Sharon M. Draper.
