Alexandra Berneis Hoag
Executive Director
Alix is a lifelong Washtenaw County resident, having grown up in Ann Arbor and Dexter. She graduated from Dexter High School and went on to earn a BFA in Theatre Performance at Denison University and a MS in Historic Preservation from EMU. Alix has been volunteering with A2CT since 1994 - she's been onstage and off, including a seven year stint as co-supervisor of the A2CT costume shop. She is passionate about live theatre, and being here at Civic feels like coming home!
Gretchen Pleuss
Operations Coordinator
Originally from Akron, Ohio, Gretchen Pleuss is excited to be a new addition to Ann Arbor’s vibrant arts community. Gretchen holds a BA in Anthropology from the University of Akron and has worked for various nonprofit organizations over the past five years as an educator, event coordinator, and songwriter. In addition to her work with nonprofits, Gretchen has been writing and performing professionally for the better part of ten years and has received national and international recognition for her music.
