Achieve3000

iLearnNYC implementation of Achieve3000

iLearnNYC Site Coordinator

All classes must first be created in LMI Align.

  • Ensure your rosters reflect the most up-to-date enrollments.

  • Once you enroll a student into an Achieve3000 class in the iLearnNYC Admin Console, that license cannot be revoked even if you remove the student from the class.

Teachers

After classes are created in iLearn and finalized, all assigned Achieve3000 Teachers of Record, should:

  • Make every effort to log into the iLearnNYC environment, (using their DOE Outlook username and password), BEFORE students. Go to>> iLearnnyc.net

  • Find your class and pass-through to the Achieve3000 platform, BEFORE students.

  • Achieve3000 now requires that each teacher selects the solution their entire class is to receive.

  • The recommendation is to select either Empower Access or Empower Boost.

In the Achieve3000 platform

  • Visit the new Resource Center in your Teacher’s Edition.

  • Your destination for everything you need to successfully implement Achieve—from jump-starting a launch to monitoring progress, blended learning models to graphic organizers, on-demand tutorials and tips for motivating students, every step of the way. The Resource Center is in the lower right corner of the screen.

  • The first-time students log into iLearnNYC and pass-through to Achieve, LevelSet™, the Foundation of Differentiation for Achieve3000 Solutions, will open automatically.

  • Review this document with tips and resources to support you before, during and after administration

  • Check student results immediately after LevelSet™. To track LevelSet completion go to Reports>Performance Reports>How Has Lexile Performance Changed Over Time?

  • You can reset the assessment for any student who completed it too quickly, too slowly, or with a patterned response by going to Reports>Assessment Tools>Possibly Invalid LevelSet results.

  • Access Class Scaffolds Setup.

  • Resources to help you edit class and student information. Go to Admin Settings>Edit Student and Teacher Information to access student profiles.

  • You can add audio support and other scaffolds (i.e. intervention, language support, enrichment).

  • Review this demo to help you schedule lessons so they align to your instructional goals.

  • Review this demo to add or remove entire collections such as World History or Physical Science (which appear as “trays” on your homepage).

  • Blended Learning and Performance Consistency:

  • note that there are teacher recommendations and materials available for each lesson to support whole, small and independent direct instruction. They are located on the right side of each lesson, and there are specific recommendations for each step of the lesson. The new 5-step lessons include discussion questions organized by DOK!

  • Monitor your students’ performance and progress with our new data center.

  • Remember: students’ Lexiles will increase if they complete at least four activities per month with an average first-try score of 75% or better. Ensure more fidelity with the program and higher scores by holding students accountable—expect them to annotate the articles and have them track their first-try activity scores with this chart.

  • Take a deeper dive into the data by using the performance report, How has Lexile performance changed over time?

  • Use this demo video to review how to monitor student Lexile growth, including their LevelSet results. Another key report to run is How are my students spending their time? (Usage reports). Use this report to make sure your students are on task. Finally, run the performance report, How are my students performing on reading skills? to identify the skills students are mastering and the skills you should remediate. Watch this video to learn more about this powerful report.
