iZone/iLearnNYC Spring PD Opportunities

 iLearnNYC is offering a series of webinar professional development opportunities to all teachers who are currently using iLearnNYC. Please join us for a series of tool specific sessions every Tuesday. 

 

Title: Using Google and iLearnNYC Together 

Description: As an educator, you have a full plate between planning, teaching and everything in between. In this session, we’ll help you use the skills and resources you have already developed while teaching with previous technologies and apply them to iLearnNYC. We’ll help you translate iLearnNYC tools into the workflows you currently use, bring in previously built resources like Google Docs and explore some cool new features to support teaching and learning that you may have never used before.

Title: Personalized Learning in iLearnNYC 

Description: Every student learns differently, and it’s important that your classroom caters to your students’ unique needs. Join this session to see how you can use tools like Release Conditions, Special Access and Intelligent Agents to personalize learning for your students.

Title: Developing Meaningful Feedback in iLearnNYC (Grades K-5) 

Description: Calling all iLearnNYC elementary teachers! Are you wanting to give more meaningful feedback to your students? Are you worried that you don’t have enough time to give personalized feedback to every student? This session will walk you through iLearnNYC tools like Rubrics, Audio/Video Feedback, and Quizzes and the best times to use them.

Passport to Social Studies in iLearnNYC       

For all Social Studies teachers of grades 6-11 come join us in the Deep Dive into Passport to Social Studies in iLearnNYC sessions created specifically for you. This session will show you how to use The NYCDOE’s Passport to Social Studies curriculum in a blended/digital learning environment.  There are no digital licenses required for this program.  The iLearnNYC team will continue supporting teachers in creating high-quality blended instruction within the LMS and provide teachers the opportunity to bring instructional content to the sessions and use the digital tools found in iLearnNYC. All other grades, stay tuned as content Is being created for you!
