Verbally ask to be dropped off at Entrance 3. Do not get dropped off at Entrance 1, since it is the hospital entrance. From there, follow signs to PharmedOut Conference in New Research Building Auditorium (approx 2 minute walk)

Public Transportation: Metro Bus or GUTS Bus

Unfortunately, there is no metro stop near campus. However, there is a Metro Bus (D6) that stops on Reservoir Road next to the Georgetown University School of Medicine. You will either need to bring exact change to ride the bus or purchase a SmartTrip pass. The D6 bus stop can be found near the following metro stations: Dupont Circle Station (red line) on 20th St. and New Hampshire Ave.; Metro Center Station (red line) on 13th St. and G St.; Farragut West Station (blue, orange, and silver lines) on 17th (E) St. and I St.

Metro Bus Link

Take the D6 bus until the Reservoir Rd. + French Embassy stop. Walk to Entrance 3. From there, follow signs to PharmedOut Conference in New Research Building Auditorium (approx. 3 minute walk, total)

GUTS Bus Link (free)

There is a free Georgetown University shuttle service (GUTS) bus) from the Rosslyn Metro Station (blue and orange lines) and Dupont Circle Station (red line) metro stops. Additionally, the Law Center Shuttle (close to Union Station) will bring you to Georgetown University main campus. During rush hour, the shuttles run every 5-10 minutes. Between 10am and 3pm, and between 6pm and 11:45pm, the shuttles run every 20 minutes.

Walking Directions from Metro:

DuPont Metro Station

Walking from the Dupont Metro station to the New Research Building Auditorium will take approximately 42 minutes (2.1 miles) Alternatively, the D6 bus route can be boarded from Dupont circle at positions L and T on the map

Rosslyn Metro Station

Walking from Rosslyn Metro Station to New Research Building auditorium will take approximately 35 minutes (1.6 miles)

Parking:

Leavey Center Parking Garage

From Reservoir Rd., turn into Entrance 1 and follow to the Leavey Hotel and Conference Center. Drive past the MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and turn downhill. The parking garage will be on the left.

From Canal St., drive up into the main campus and straight up the hill past the football stadium. The parking garage should be on the right.

Parking is available for a flat rate of $25 per day. Cars must be moved out of the garage by no later than 6:00am the following morning.

Hospital Parking Garage

From Reservoir Rd., turn into Entrance 1 and follow to the Leavey Hotel and Conference Center. Drive straight past the MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and right in front is the entrance to the parking garage. From Canal St., drive up into the main campus and straight up the hill past the football stadium. Continue to the top of the hill and turn left. Drive past the Leavey Hotel and Conference Center. The garage should be on the right. Parking is available for a flat rate of $75 per day.

Street Parking

Street parking around campus is limited and strictly enforced by the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) and Department of Public Works. Most streets require a Zone 2 residential permit issued by the District of Columbia for parking longer than two hours. A limited number of metered spaces are available on Reservoir Rd. 37th St., and Prospect St. We highly recommend public transportation or rideshare.

Public Parking

There is also the option of using a public parking lot in DuPont Circle on 1919 Massachusetts Avenue in Washington D.C. - it is adjacent to the GUTs shuttle stop in DuPont Circle.
