Shianne May, Registry Sales Coordinator

Shianne May is the Registry Sales Coordinator for the U.S. With over eight years in animal welfare, she has a diverse background in the industry. Having worked in both a large open admission shelter and smaller rescue organizations she has a first hand understanding of the unique challenges they both face. She has run low-cost clinics, organized fundraising events, and facilitated many happy reunifications while overseeing adoption and intake departments. Shianne has dedicated her career to helping keep pets and people together and is passionate about sharing how the Found Animals reunification program allows for so many swift and happy reunions for pets and their families.

Pets' Favorite Hiding Place: I once thought my own cat was missing - I searched my apartment up and down only for her to come slinking out from napping behind a slightly open drawer in our dresser wondering where dinner was. I'm not even sure how she fit in there.

If My Pets Could Talk, They Would Say: "Whatever you're doing, there better be treats involved for me."

Fun Fact That Most People Don't Know: I was pretty musically inclinded growing up and was in school band from 4th to 10th grade. I could learn an instrument fairly quickly so I bounced around between instruments depending on what the band needed at the time. Between symphonic, marching and jazz band I played the clarinet, alto clarinet, bass clarinet, alto sax, french horn and bass guitar. Bass clarinet was my favorite but I eventually left band to focus more on sports.
