Social and emotional needs of students required for academic growth/progress have not been met.
Root Cause:
Lack of social interaction. Isolation resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic..
Strategy:
Collaborate with teachers and staff to identify the stress related behaviors and zones of dysregulation in students.
Provided teachers with strategies on building strong and secure relationships with students to promote resilience and safety.
Develop strategies for calming and de-escalating stress induced behaviors.

The safety and well-being of all students, staff members, parents, and visitors continue to be priorities for Eagle Pass ISD as our campuses return for the 2022-2023 school year. Protocols, and safety guidelines have been implemented to follow Federal, State, and local guidelines.
