Comets 2023 Schedule

Practice at Pullman High School Track  

•        Preseason conditioning will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 to 6:30pm, April 18 thru May 11.

•        Regular season practices will be on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. 5:30-7pm, May 15 thru July 27.

Hammer Practice at WSU  

•        Hammer practice will be held at the WSU hammer cage at Mooberry Track on Sunday afternoons throughout the year. Check with Coach Mike hinzm@roadrunner.com for specifics.

•        In June on Tuesdays 5:30-6:30, we will have Hammer practice at WSU and will have special practice at PHS 5:30-6:20 for middle school and older athletes only.

2023 USATF Meet Schedule

Youth Ages

• June 3 – Inland Northwest USATF Association Championships, (JO athletes only) Southridge HS, Kennewick, WA

• June 16-17 – Inland Northwest Junior Olympic Championships, University HS, Spokane Valley, WA (Top 12 qualify for JO Regionals)

• July 6-9 – USATF Region 13 Junior Olympic Championships, Mt Tahoma HS, Tacoma, WA (Top 5 qualify for JO Nationals)

• July 24-30 – USATF National Junior Olympic Championships, UO, Eugene, OR (qualify July 6-9)

Open, Masters, and Senior

• June 3 – Inland Northwest USATF Open and Masters Athletes, Only.

• July 15 – USATF Northwest Regional Masters and Open Championships, West Seattle Stadium, Seattle, WA

• July 22-23 – WA Senior Games, Tumwater, Lacey. ages 50 and up.

2023 AAU Meet Schedule (must have AAU membership)

• Jun 29-Jul 2 – AAU West Coast Championships, Reno, NV

• Jul 28-Aug 5 – AAU National Championships, Des Moines, IA Qualify at Region 21 Meet, Meridian, ID (date tba)

 ***Officials Certification Opportunity***

• Apr 30 – Track and Field Officials Certification Clinic, Spokane Falls CC, Stadium 11:30am-4pm. INTF is always in need of certified officials. No experience is required. Contact Coach Mike hinzm@roadrunner.com for info.
