Monday 2/25 Journal - When do you plan on renting your first apartment? (How old will you be?) Think back to your “renting an apartment” project. What did you learn from doing your project that will be helpful to you? (7-10 sentences)

In class project (due Wednesday at 7:45am)

Work with the person at your table (your new roommate) to find a house that you would like to buy (on zillow.com) that would fit within your $300,000 budget.

(Presentations are scheduled for class on Wednesday)

Your presentation should be done on a google slides (google's version of powerpoint) and shared with jcotter@assabet.org

Your presentation should have 4 slides:

1) picture of your place (or link to picture that you will show us), price, and any other interesting or relevant information

2) a list of at least 5 "pros" and 5 "cons" for buying your house

3) a SMART goal for making a 20% down payment for your house

4) conclusion - After doing this project, when in your life do you think you'll actually be ready to buy a house? Why?
