Monday 10/16 - Think of a big purchase that you will make over
the next year (cell phone, car, winter coat, etc). Explain in detail
how will you make the decision on which one to buy?
Due Thursday 10/11 - 5 paragraph essay: 5-7 sentences on your topic,
3-5 sentences on the other 5 topics. Information on all topics can be
found in your "Borrowing" textbook (#2).
Topics include:

"The Dark Side of Debt" p16-17
"Dial B for borrowing" p18-19
"The 5 C's of credit" p24-25
"Ace your credit score" p28-29
"Triple D approach to fraud" p35-38
Tuesday 10/17 - Write down everything you know about credit
and different ways that you can borrow money (7-10 sentences).
Tuesday in class - Foolproof #3
Extra credit - Foolproof #16 "I'm broke"
Wednesday 10/18 - What are 10 things that you will probably need to
borrow money for in the next 20 years?
Thursday 10/19 - Write down 5 specific questions that you would
like to ask the banking and personal finance experts from DCU.
After the Quiz - Do foolproof #14 or #16. If you do both, the
second one will be counted as extra credit.
