Monday 10/3 - Look back into your journal.

What did you learn last week, during our presentations,

that you think will be most useful to you?

Homework Due Oct 11th - write down everything you spend

money on for a week.

Exit Journal - 2 part entry

1) What do you want to buy for $50-$30000?

2) Why is it important to make your financial

goals SMART?

Tuesday 10/4 - Write down 10 things that you "want" to buy

that costs less than $30,000.

Give 1 example (not already discussed in class) of how

you could fulfill a "want" without spending as much money.

Wednesday 10/5 - Think of a big purchase that you will make over

the next year (cell phone, car, winter coat, etc). Explain in detail

how will you make the decision on which one to buy?

In-class project - Create a google presentation explaining how you

would use the 6-step decision making process (on page 20)

to make a decision on what to buy. Your explanation must include

each of the 6 steps and must provide links to all expenses.

You can do this project individually or in a group of 2.

Due Thursday at 8am

Thursday 10/6 - Write down everything you know about credit

and different ways that you can borrow money (7-10 sentences).

Due Tuesday 10/11 - 5 paragraph essay: 5-7 sentences on your topic,

3-5 sentences on the other 4 topics. Information on all topics can be

found in your "Borrowing" textbook (#2).

Topics include:

"Gotcha! The cost of borrowing" p14-15

"The Dark Side of Debt" p16-17

"Dial B for borrowing" p18-19

"The 5 C's of credit" p24-25

"Ace your credit score" p28-29

"Triple D approach to fraud" p35-38

Friday 10/7 - What are 10 things that you will probably need to

borrow money for in the next 20 years?
