Quizzes - for 100% Credit, make it up by 8am on the following quiz day (Friday)...quizzes turned in (to library folder) later will be graded on a 75% scale

Journals - for 100% Credit, hand it to me up by 8am on the following quiz day (Friday)...work turned in after that will be graded on a 75% scale

Foolproofs - I will check/update engrade for each assignment twice...when it's due (for full credit)...and at the end of the term (for minus 1 point)...if you do a foolproof after the due date, or an extra credit foolproof...and you would like it to be updated on engrade, please send me an email

Journal Monday 3/14 - List every type of insurance that you can think of. For each type of insurance, write why it is important (or isn't important) for people to have that type of insurance (7-10 sentences total)

Journal Tuesday 3/15 - Get started reading and writing your 5-7 sentence summary on your report topic (listed below, in case you forgot)

Tuesday in class - Foolproof #15 (insurance) due Wednesday at 8am

Journal Wednesday 3/16 - Write 7-10 sentences about what you learned (or already knew) from your "foolproof" yesterday. If you were absent yesterday, write everything that you know about insurance.

Due Thursday 3/17 - 5 paragraph essay: 5-7 sentences on your topic, 3-5 sentences on the other 4 topics. Information on all topics can be found in your "Insurance" textbook (#6). Topics include:

"Insurance Lingo" p12-16 (Bianca, jc, jon, josh, ethan)

"Different types of insurance" (introduce at least 5) p16-21(Adam, chris s, nahum, chris p)

"How do insurance companies decide how much to charge you?" p22-24 & p37-38 (megan helen edisa matt)

"Everything there is to know about auto insurance" p25-30 (katie derek tyler angie)

"Everything there is to know about health insurance" p31-36 (kyle jessica hannah aary maddy)

Presentations. Each group will create a visual aide (using their board space) and all group members must participate in the presentation.

Journal Thursday 3/17 - Write everything that you know about car insurance? Why do you need car insurance? When and why would you use your car insurance? (7-10 sentences)

Journal Friday 3/18 - When choosing an auto insurance policy, is it more important to have a low premium or a low deductible? (in your opinion) Also, what does "comprehensive coverage" cover? Is it worth paying for any additional coverage? Explain you reasoning. (7-10 sentences)
