The Clicks Remote Model provides the opportunity for students to continue to learn at home while remaining registered at their enrolled school.

This model is designed for families who don’t feel comfortable sending their children back to school but ultimately plan to rejoin their enrolled school in the future. Families that choose learning remotely will follow the standard school schedule and bell times within a virtual environment.

WHAT TO EXPECT

In The Virtual Classroom

  • Hold online class meetings

  • Teachers will provide daily instruction utilizing web conferencing technology

  • The daily student-teacher interactions will provide a structure similar to that in a classroom setting where teachers will facilitate and guide student learning

  • The curriculum and instructional time per subject will mirror face-to-face instruction

Additional Supports

In addition to daily lessons, teachers can:

  • Hold interactive & engaging class meetings

  • Respond to individual students daily

  • Provide real-time support and progress monitoring virtually

  • Make appointments for virtual meetings with students, as requested

  • Request student services

As A Parent Support

  • Typically, elementary students require daily guidance from their parent or guardian, while middle school students need guidance on a weekly basis

  • Make sure your student understands the work expectations

  • Maintain a routine around school and schoolwork

  • Keep in touch with your teacher(s) on a regular basis and let them know if your child is experiencing specific challenges

  • Talk to your child regarding how they are feeling during this remote learning experience

  • Seek assistance from school staff for emotional or mental health if needed

  • Perform check-ins with your child regarding academics

  • Reach out to your child’s teacher or student services staff with any changes that may impact your child’s success to allow us to develop supports for your child prior to the first day of school
