Our focus is exploring the intersection of media & technology, with a particular focus on how they both independently and collectively shape + improve the lives of marginalized communities.
Our approach to social entrepreneurship & impact product design is two-fold:

Tiffany has over 10 years of experiences in technology and entrepreneurship. She began her career as Java developer and Technical Architect for Accenture. In 2010, she founded a successful technology consulting firm developing SaaS platforms for nonprofits and social enterprises. In 2013, she helped Dev Bootcamp launch its Chicago location which sold to Kaplan in 2014. Mikell’s work embodies and is driven by the idea that access to education, capital and support is the key to empowerment.
Dr. Kortney Ziegler
Head of Research, Design & Product
Kortney is an award winning filmmaker, early internet blogger, professor and technology founder with over 10 years of education design, media and e-commerce experience. Dr. Ziegler is the first person to receive a PhD in African American Studies from Northwestern University and is also the Founder of TransH4CK – a virtual hackathon series recently funded by the Marc and Laura Andreessen Foundation and has recently partnered with Harvard’s Innovation Lab. By leveraging his extensive experience in interactive education design, he is uniquely positioned to transform access to relevant and valuable education in markets currently underserved.
