In my classroom you will find a nurturing, educational environment that encourages parental involvement. I recognize that all children have unique talents, learning styles, and personalities. I am a highly qualified award winning teacher committed to working within each child's comfort zone to ensure optimal social, emotional, and educational results.

I was born and raised in Yuma, AZ. I am married to a retired firefighter. We have three children and four grandchildren. My daughter works in agriculture and both of my sons are in the U.S. Army. I have one dog and several tortoises.

I have a Masters Degree in Elementary Education. In 2007 I was named Yuma County Primary Teacher of the Year and in 2009 I was a top 10 semi-finalist for Arizona Teacher of the Year. I have been teaching 30 years and I absolutely love it!
