To clarify from the SENIOR Parent Meeting, the Bright Futures Application is due by August 31, 2025 (your Seniors graduating year). The NEW application will open on OCTOBER 1, 2024 (approximate date). If your Senior is graduating in December 2024, they will need to fill out the application sometime between October-December 31st. The application that is currently open is for the Class of 2024. Students will need to have their test scores on hand when filing out the application. I apologize for any confusion this may have caused. You DO NOT need to apply before October 1st for your Senior. Boys and Girls Club Scholarship
For Charlotte County students planning on pursuing a degree in postsecondary education. Minimum of five years as a member in good standing with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Charlotte County. Membership at other Boys and Girls Club will be considered by the committee. Applicant must volunteer a minimum of 12 hours at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Charlotte County prior to high school graduation. Due to Mrs. Nicklas in the Career Center by March 10th.
Builders Scholarship/Tools of the Trade Scholarship
This scholarship application is open to students in Charlotte and DeSoto counties and children of members of the Charlotte-DeSoto Building Industry Association who want to pursue rewarding careers in the construction industry. Due to Mrs. Nicklas in the Career Center by March 28th.
Charlotte County Jazz Society Scholarship
Charlotte County Jazz Society provides financial assistance to several qualifying members of the Senior Class in the county’s High Schools who wish to pursue careers in music or music education. Charlotte Technical College Scholarship
All current CCPS seniors enrolling in CTC as adults should complete this form to be awarded a $250.00 scholarship applied to their CTC tuition and to waive the $25.00 application fee. This offer is only valid if the student completes the registration process by April 1, 2021. This offer applies to all Academy, Charlotte High School, Lemon Bay High School, Port Charlotte High School, Charlotte Virtual, or FSW Collegiate Graduating Seniors.
