Hello, and welcome to Taft's Social Work page! My name is Sparkle Scissum, and I'm proud to serve as The School-Based Social Worker here at Taft. My mission is to support the well-being and success of every student by offering emotional support, connecting families with valuable resources, and fostering a safe and inclusive environment in collaboration with families, teachers, and staff.

Meet your School Based Social Worker
Hello! I'm Sparkle Scissum, a Licensed Independent Social Worker with over 15 years of experience. I hold a Masters in Social Work (MSSA) from Case Western Reserve University and have dedicated my career to helping children and families overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
When I am not at work, I enjoy being active and spending time outdoors- it's my way of recharging and staying inspired. As a proud wife and mother, family time is especially important to me, and I love finding opportunities to learn, grow, and make meaningful memories.
I'm excited to support our students and families and look forward to making a positive impact together!
