Facilities Department

What We Do:

The Facilities Office is responsible for maintenance and cleaning of the district's school buildings and its surrounding grounds and fields. Work is performed in-house by district custodial and maintenance staff. Each building has a supervisor on-site, assisted by a custodial staff. This department also plays a critical role in the district's construction projects and works closely with the business office, architects and construction management representatives. This insures that all capital projects proceed in accordance with approved New York State Education Department designs; and meets the stringent standards of quality in compliance with the YCSD Steering Committee and all applicable state and federal regulations.
