Meet the next generation of creators, illustrators, designers, coders, and engineers, who are building their skills in the Crompond Creators Club!
The newly formed club has taken Crompond Elementary School by storm, with more than 200 fourth and fifth graders choosing to spend part of their free time to work on a variety of exciting ESTEAM projects.
So far, students have created T-shirt designs, custom bookmarks, digital games, 3D-printed pieces, light-up cards, and keychains — all during lunch and recess.
Families will have the chance to see these projects at a spring showcase. In the meantime, Board of Education members received an early preview at the Nov. 3 meeting and praised students for their impressive work and confident presentations.
A big thank you to club advisors Ms. Burns, Ms. Brennan, and Ms. Edwards for inspiring our young creators, bringing this idea to life, and making sure every student who wanted to participate had a spot!
