May 22 was a special day for our American Sign Language students!
MESMS seventh graders collaborated with Ossining middle school students for a morning of immersive ASL activities and participated in an insightful discussion panel featuring four talented members of the D/deaf community.
In just its first year, our ASL program is already making meaningful connections and enriching our students' understanding of language and culture. Thank you to Ms. Molly Dineen-Carey for organizing this fantastic event!
