Science Olympiad Team Heads Back to States

Congratulations to our Yorktown High School Science Olympiad team, which is heading to the States for the third year in a row! They punched their ticket at Regionals, where they finished in third place out of 50 teams.

Our YHS B team, with many underclassmen, also showcased their skills with a remarkable 13th-place finish at Regionals.

Mr. Eric Agosta, who co-advises the club with Mr. Dennis Downing, expressed his pride: “We have a strong group of kids heading into states and our goal is to medal. Our B team getting 13th this year shows how strong we will be in the future.”

Good luck to our Science Olympians as they prepare for the State competition at Le Moyne College in Syracuse in late March!
