Congratulations to our young authors at Mohansic Elementary School!
As part of their nonfiction writing unit, second graders explored the animal kingdom, researching habitats, diets, and unique traits to create their own books. Some students added hand-drawn illustrations, while others built dioramas to bring their subjects to life.
Families joined the celebration in the classroom, where students proudly read their work aloud, showcasing their impressive research and storytelling skills!
