What an egg-citing lesson in engineering at Mohansic!
On May 2, kindergartners gathered on the playground to test the egg-protecting structures they designed earlier in the week. Using materials like felt, bubble wrap, cotton balls, foil, and paper cups, each group built a creative contraption they hoped would keep their egg from cracking on impact.
Some eggs made it. Some didn’t. But all of our students walked away with valuable lessons in problem-solving, design, and teamwork. Well done, kindergartners!
