First Grader Named ‘Superintendent for the Day’

Meet Andrew, our Superintendent for the Day!

The first-grade student from Mohansic won the opportunity through a PTA raffle to step into the District's top administrative role.

Upon arriving at his new office this afternoon, our HR Department gave Andrew a warm welcome, complete with a photo, lanyard, and ID badge. Andrew then met with Dr. Hattar to review the afternoon’s agenda and familiarize himself with the position.

Throughout the two-hour visit, Andrew gained valuable insights into the District's operations by meeting with various administrators and discussing lunch menus with the Aramark food services team (he even had some great suggestions!).

To cap off his exciting day, Andrew took a tour of the high school building, getting a first-hand look at the facilities while meeting some of the students and staff.
