In assigning students to classes, the following criteria shall be considered: age, social and emotional maturity, and demonstrated academic achievement, in order to assure appropriate assignments.
Students transferring into the District will generally be placed at the level to which they were previously assigned. However, in addition to prior grade level, the District may utilize testing to ascertain proper grade level.
