Board Member Resignation

A member of the Board may resign his/her office by filing his/her resignation with the District Clerk. The effective date of the resignation must be within 30 days after the date of filing. If no effective date is provided, the resignation will be effective immediately.


A member of the Board may also resign his/her office by filing his/her resignation with the District (BOCES) Superintendent, who shall notify the District Clerk and Board.
