A member of the Board may resign their office by filing their written resignation with the District Clerk. The effective date of the resignation must be within 30 days after the date of filing. If no effective date is provided, the resignation will be effective immediately.
A member of the Board may also resign their office by filing their written resignation with the District (BOCES) Superintendent, who will promptly notify the District Clerk and Board.
