Relations with Parent Organizations
The Board supports the following objectives of parent organizations:
to promote the welfare of children and youth in the community;
to encourage positive parental involvement in a child's public education;
to secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth;
to strengthen the relationship between the home and the school so that parents and teachers may cooperate in the education of the child;
to develop between educators and the general public such united efforts that will secure for every child the highest advantages in physical, emotional, and social well-being;
6. to offer mutual support and information to parents; and
7. to function as a source of information for the community.
A faculty representative and the Principal will act as liaisons between the PTA board and the staff.
