Looking ahead to 2021-22

Exciting Nerds events are already planned for the year 2021-22. In the autumn term you can come and join in the HA Great Debate. This year's theme will see students from across the country debating the greatest changes in Britain over the last 70 years. In February we will be joined by Dr Helen Lacey from the University of Oxford. She will share cutting edge research about the 'People of 1381' and give us an insight into how historians research using old documents and big data to reach exciting new interpretations. Then in the summer of 2022, get up close and personal with one of York's oldest residents as Dr Ian Milstead of the York Archaeological Trust talks about work to uncover Eboracum. Keep an eye on this site for details!
