Purpose
To enable and encourage the practical use of wireless technologies among university staff, students and alumni. To promote training and development, support acquisition and maintenance of equipment, and to enable the deployment of wireless technologies for educational use.
Goals
Develop and maintain technical know-how for personal development of the members, as well as support to teaching and research activities in the university (e.g. technology demonstrators, experimental testbeds)
Stimulate maker culture and technical knowledge exchange across departments and age groups
Increase external impact and visibility of the university through events, competitions, demonstrations, amateur radio contacts
