This was a blog I wrote for another early attempt at a personal website 'naturallyneuroscientific.wordpress.com', which I don't think exists any longer.
I’ve spent years trying again and again to run a personal website where I can show off what I’ve done, but also reflect on those things. Hopefully, this one will be successful.
I’ve seen many amazing personal websites showing off not only the incredible strides in research that early career researchers have done but also their interests and hobbies outside of academia. There’s something inspirating about seeing what I could also do in the future, so I’m making this personal website to do the same.
I also just like looking back on what I’ve done to see how far I’ve come and decide on what to do next. Having something like an archive is perfect for this.
An image of Nyhavn in Copenhagen. This picture isn’t mine and is taken from pexels.com, though I visited Copenhagen in May 2023 and I’d like to go back again.
I’m still new to website design and I’ve haven’t entirely thought of what I’d like to do. I’d like to do a project carrying on the work I did in summer 2022 trying to model human audiovisual integration but stepping back slightly. I’d also like to post about my travels and where to go next, something like a bucket list. Either way, welcome to my personal website… I hope you don’t get too lost.
