Biography

After earning a double PhD in Linguistics (University of Groningen) and Applied Linguistics (Pompeu Fabra University), I have primarily dedicated myself to teaching English as a Second Language, although my love for spreadsheets and data analysis has never faded. Combining research on language attrition, motivation, and emotions related to language acquisition and loss, I strive to teach languages (I have recently begun teaching French as well) in a way that fosters lasting language proficiency, motivation, and cross-linguistic awareness.
