Health Equity Seminar Series

An online seminar series on equity and inequality in health.

HESS is an online seminar series on equity and inequality in health. We encourage interdisciplinary discussion between researchers in this area and provide a platform for the dissemination of their research.

Our upcoming series consists of 6 seminars, which will take place between the 26th April and 31st of May 2022. These seminars will be at 12pm (UK time) on Tuesdays. Our previous series ran in Spring 2021, hosted by the University of York, and a future series will run in Autumn 2022, hosted by Erasmus University Rotterdam.

This website provides information on the upcoming seminars and details on accessing the online sessions. Seminars are recorded and are also uploaded to the site. If you want to sign-up to our email list please go to the sign-up page.

The series is jointly organised by researchers at the University of York and Erasmus University Rotterdam. Matthew Robson and Ieva Skarda, from the EQUIPOL research group, and Raf Van Gestel and Vivian Reckers-Droog, from the Smarter Choices for Better Health initiative. Please do get in touch with us if you would like further information.
