When you follow the link to the Library, it will open in a new tab. To navigate back to the landing page, to see our user guides or other information, return to your original tab.
Once on the Library, the catalogue can be navigated using collections and filter functions which are accessed via the left-hand menu. You can use filter options in combination, for example, selecting a data collection tool and then selecting an age range to narrow your search down further. To open a resource, follow the hyperlink; the resource will open in a new tab.
At present our library is organised into the following collections:
Inclusive Data Collection Tools
Ethics, Building Relationships and Understanding Participants' Needs
Each collection then has several sub-collections providing more specificity and resources can have multiple tags and exist in multiple collections.
You can filter the resources based on age, communication strategy, language, resource type, and topic.
You can also use the search feature at the top of the page to search for specific terms.
Resources can be sorted in the following ways:
Newest / oldest first returns resources in order of publication date.
Recently added returns resources in order of when they were added to the catalogue.
Author A-Z and Title A-Z return resources in alphabetical order of the author or title respectively.
You can also use the Abstracts toggle button to show or hide abstracts in the search list.
Editable templates come in two formats, Google Docs and Microsoft Word.
To download the Google Docs template:

If you'd like to suggest one or more resources to add to the catalogue, please submit a new resource and feedback form. Wherever possible, please provide a DOI and information on how to use the resource, if appropriate.
When submitting resources, it's very helpful if you can also suggest appropriate tags and/or collections for the resource. Doing so makes it much more likely that the resource can be added to the catalogue quickly.
Please also let us know about any user permissions on the form. For example, if you have used software to develop the resource which needs to be referenced.
ADLib is powered by a Zotero Library, using Kerko. The library is public and can be viewed by anyone, but only ADLib Moderators can edit it.
